Mello - 1950s Performance

As I was looking into the 1950's performances, Little Richard's performance of Long Tall Sally was very captivating, and its a great song. The performance is from the movie Don't Knock the Rock. I feel like its a very similar scene to one like Rock! Rock! Rock! He is a very lively performer and was one of the many performers to blend the music for rock and roll.

  1. Somehow fittingly, Little Richard, 85, and Jerry Lee Lewis, 82 - the two wildest pounders on the 88s in early rock & roll - are the last surviving legends from that first class of innovators. Classic performance!

  2. I did not listen to Little Richard before taking this class, he is a truly talented musician. I am a big fan of his style of performing, how up beat he is really keeps the audience entertained.
